On Thursday afternoon, it was a dream come true for many of these under-16 boys who were representing Goa in the 12th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men’s National Championship 2022 for the first time. They arrived at Peddem sports complex in Mapusa for their opening match against Delhi, high on spirits and enthusiasm, proud to represent their state. But what they lacked was the kit.
