Akal Takht jathedar’s ‘Save SAD’ appeal to Sikh groups
Shiromani Akali Dal’s crushing defeat in the Punjab assembly elections has prompted officiating jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh to call all Akali factions to the Akal Takht, while the Sikh opposition leaders have also endorsed this push for unity.
