Alvida Namaz: Devotees offer prayer peacefully
Amid the ongoing controversies over the use of loudspeakers and offering prayers on roads in Uttar Pradesh, Muslims in Agra, Aligarh, and Mathura offered “Alvida namaz” peacefully on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. Several Muslim clerics, in fact, appealed to the community members to offer prayers at their nearest mosques to avoid inconvenience to the public.
