Anti-encroachment drive: 10 cops hurt in stone pelting at D'pur
A massive fire broke out during an anti-encroachment drive at the Danapur block office campus in Patna. The district administration blamed anti-social elements among the encroachers for the blaze. Around 10 policemen were injured and an excavator was damaged as the encroachers pelted them with stones. No one was injured in the fire incident, which was quickly brought under control by a fire brigade team. The Danapur block office premises were being used as a temporary shelter for flood-affected families.
