Arhtiyas threaten to shut mandis on Sept 10
The arhtiyas held a protest on Monday at Mansa’s grain market against the state government’s decision to decrease their commission on cotton trading from 2.5 to 1%. They threatened to shut mandis across Punjab from September 10 if the September 9 talks with authorities fail.
