As utilities move underground, space below Goa roads scarce
Many parts of Panaji were left in darkness for several hours recently, after power cables were damaged during the laying of sewerage lines. After water pipelines, telecom lines and optic fibre cables, now pipelines for gas, sewerage and electricity are also jostling for space below many of Goa’s narrow roads.
