Azam Khan refuses to meet 'Akhilesh's emissary'
Walking out of the Sitapur jail after waiting inside for almost an hour, Ravidas Mehrotra tried to downplay the entire issue saying that Azam was apparently unwell but confirmed that he had reached Sitapur jail on the ‘directions’ of SP national president. “We are here on the direction of party president to reiterate that Samajwadi Party has been behind Azam Khan and will continue to do whatever possible for seek justice for him,” Mehrotra said.
