Bhawra moved from Punjab police chief's post
Just a day prior to Punjab police chief Viresh Kumar Bhawra's two-month leave getting over on September 4, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab on Saturday removed him from the top post and appointed him as chairman of the Punjab Police Housing Corporation. Gaurav Yadav, a 1992-batch IPS office,r will continue to function as the officiating head of the Punjab police in addition to his duties as special DGP administration.
