BJP afraid of opposition, will curtail assembly session: Congress 
The BJP-led government lacks the guts to face the opposition and will curtail the ensuing monsoon assembly session, Congress alleged on Sunday. Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar also said that the state government will eventually delay the panchayat elections too, compelling citizens to seek legal recourse. Amonkar, who is the deputy chief of the Congress legislature party, said the Pramod Sawant government has deliberately botched up the reservation process for the panchayat polls.
