BJP set to walk a tightrope in picking its new cabinet
Of the 12 ministers in the last BJP-led state cabinet, five have been re-elected, including chief minister Pramod Sawant, power minister Nilesh Cabral, transport minister Mauvin Godinho, health minister Vishwajit Rane and revenue minister Jennifer Monserrate. Additionally, former art and culture minister Govind Gaude, who had resigned at the last minute before the 2022 elections to join BJP, has also been elected as a party MLA.
