Bombay HC quashes MERC ombudsman’s appointment
In a setback to Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC), the Nagpur bench of Bombay high court (HC) cancelled the appointment of its electricity ombudsman Deepak Lad, holding that he lacked requisite qualifications.
