Desilting of Satluj begins near Gidderpindi bridge
Within hours of the water resources, mines and geology principal secretary directing the drainage department officials to desilt the Satluj riverbed near Gidderpindi railway bridge, two earth moving machines and around 35 tractor-trolleys were on the spot to begin work.
