Double-tracking would ‘invite great disaster’ in Western Ghats, says SC
The Supreme Court, which on Monday cancelled the Railways’ clearance for the double-tracking project from Castlerock to Kulem, said that any further construction there would “invite a great disaster in the sensitive areas of the Western Ghats”.
