Faridabad AQI severe, power situation saves Haryana industry; Punjab better than Delhi
The air quality index (AQI) of Faridabad was in the severe category, that of Bahadurgarh just one notch below, and half of Haryana's between poor and very poor on Tuesday. Thankfully, there was enough electricity, or GRAP-3 would have stalled the industries of Panipat, Sonipat, Faridabad and Gurgaon. Punjab's AQI was moderate but has worsened in a week of intensified field fires.
