Flood assessment by Aug 15, initial losses at ₹1,500 crore
The Punjab cabinet on Saturday decided to get the special girdawari to assess losses due to floods by August 15 to be able to disburse compensation to victims, even as rough estimates have indicated a loss of around Rs 1,500 crore in the state.
