Goa: Defence secretary reviews indigenous works at Dabolim Naval base
While reviewing the efforts of the Indian Navy to indigenise weapon systems, defence secretary Ajay Kumar stressed on the need to attain self reliance in view of the geo-political churn. Kumar, who is on a five-day visit to Goa, was briefed about the Indian Navy’s on-going infrastructure augmentation and the addition of the P8I squadron that will be commissioned later this month.
