Goa: NGT admits appeal against projects on Agonda beach 
The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has admitted an appeal filed by a company against the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) for granting approval for some projects, including cottages, on the turtle nesting beach at Agonda in Canacona. “The appellant has argued that the said permission has been granted in violation of CRZ norms as the said survey numbers fall in CRZ-1 and the said places are turtle nesting grounds,” the NGT noted.
