Goa: On Vamona’s birth anniversary, a window into his genius opens for youngsters at art college
Drawings and paintings of the Goa-born artist Vamona Navelcar adorn the walls of museums and private collectors’ homes across the globe. Vamona worked as an artist across three continents — Asia, Africa and Europe. But, after he passed away in October last year, his family realised that it is the youngsters in his home state Goa who need the most to learn about his genius.
