Goa: Sonsoddo dump goes up in flames again, fire dept suspects short circuit
In an incident reminiscent of the inferno a little over two years ago, a major fire broke out at the garbage dump at Sonsoddo, on the outskirts of Margao, Friday afternoon. Firefighters of the state fire and emergency services battled the raging flames and brought the fire under control in an operation that lasted for over five hours.
