Haryana: Village gifts SUV, Rs 2 crore to defeated candidate
In a gesture of brotherhood and to avoid any rivalry post panchayat elections, the residents of Chidi village on Friday gifted a SUV and Rs 2 crore to the candidate who had lost the sarpanch poll on November 12.
