HC reserves order on plea against Dera chief's furlough
The Punjab and Haryana high court on Friday reserved its verdict on a plea that challenged the Haryana government’s decision to release controversial Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on 21 days’ furlough. The court has made it clear that it would determine the issue if the dera chief, who is convict in two rape and two murder cases, falls in the category of ‘hardcore criminal’ or not.
