HC stays mining in border dists of Gurdaspur, Pathankot
The Punjab and Haryana high court has stayed mining activities in two border districts of Gurdaspur and Pathankot in Punjab. The order was issued after reports were submitted by the Army and BSF in which mining activities in the border districts were described as a threat to security.
