IIT Madras team conducts tests on Atal Setu to study frequent pothole issue
IIT-Madras, which has been roped in by the state government to study the defects in the 3.1km-long cable-stayed Atal Setu, has collected core samples to try and identify why potholes keep emerging on the newly-constructed bridge. A three-member team of experts from the prestigious technical university is set to conduct tests before submitting a final report with solutions to the problem
