In Goa, only 8.5% govt schools connected to internet
Teachers in Goa found it challenging to conduct online classes during the pandemic as only 8.5% government schools had internet facilities. As per the Unified District Information System for Education (U-DISE) of the Union education ministry, the state has fared far worse than the national figure of 13.6% in 2020-21.
