In poll run-up, HP imposes ‘gag order’ on employees’ stir
Ahead of the assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, chief minister Jai Ram Thakur-led government has decided to deal with the agitating government employees with a firm hand. This is in contrast to neighbouring Punjab, where over half-a dozen staff unions remained on the stir path for months together in the election year.
