J'khand: 20 hurt, 12 vehicles burnt as cops, protesters clash
Villagers protesting for more compensation for the land acquired by NTPC for its 1980MWpower plant at Tandwa clashed with police on Monday, leaving 20 people from both sides injured. Twelve vehicles and an office of NTPC’s outsourcing company were also bsurnt during the incident.
