Karnataka floats tender for DPR of Kalasa project 
To expedite work on the Kalasa-Bhandura project, the Karnataka government floated a tender on June 28, inviting applications to complete the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the work. On August 14, 2018, the Mhadei Water Dispute Tribunal in its award had allotted 3.9tmc to Karnataka for out of basin diversion, 1.5tmc for in-basin consumptive use and 8.02tmc for non-consumptive use for hydro-power within the basin, on certain conditions.
