Lawyer shot inside his Residence in Hardoi by assailants posing as court marriage clients 
In Hardoi, a senior lawyer, Kanisk Mehrotra, was murdered at his home by two assailants posing as clients. They shot him in the temple during a meeting and fled. Despite immediate medical attention, Mehrotra succumbed to his injuries. The incident has sparked protests among the local legal community and investigations are underway.
