Lax cops in 50+ age group to face compulsory retirement
Performance of non-gazetted cops is being reviewed by a centralized appraisal mechanism from Class 4 staff to police inspectors in the age-group of 50 and above, as on March 31, 2021. Non-performers and tainted policemen could be compulsorily retired as per policy.
