Let down by HC, Congress to challenge disqualification plea verdict in Supreme Court
A few minutes after the high court of Bombay at Goa gave its order dismissing the plea seeking the disqualification of the 10 Congress MLAs who joined BJP in 2019, Congress decided to challenge it in the Supreme Court saying that the order will be “cited as a precedent across the country” and that it “challenges the very existence of the political parties”.
