Lucknow: Varsha murdered for dowry, says her dad
A teary-eyed Uday Pratap, father of the deceased CDRI employee Varsha Singh, sitting outside Jankipuram police station said his daughter was killed only as he was not able to meet the dowry demands of his son-in-law, which increased after he lost his job during lockdown in 2020.
