Nagpur’s water supply increased by 25MLD, second rise this summer
In view of the increased demand for water due to rise in temperatures, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) for the second time this summer is withdrawing more water from Pench reservoir and Kanhan river, thus supplying almost 25 million litres per day (MLD) additional water to the city. In April, pumping had been increased by 30MLD.
