National hydroelectric power corporation team surveys 7 dams, 11 locations in Goa A team from the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), which is looking to sign a memorandum of understanding with the state government to set up floating and rooftop solar power plants, visited seven dams and 11 locations. The tentative projected capacity in the first phase is around 60MW floating power plants and 5-6MW rooftop power plants. A senior government officer said that NHPC has signed similar MoUs with other states, including Odisha, and is now looking to invest in Goa.
