NMC nod to 7 new UP medical colleges to start MBBS courses 
The UP government received approval from the National Medical Commission to launch MBBS courses in seven new medical colleges for the 2024-25 academic session. This decision follows discussions between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Health Minister JP Nadda. The new colleges will add 600 seats, with counselling for 10,500 MBBS seats already in preparation.
