Once again tomato selling at Rs 100/kg
After tomato prices dropped to Rs 70 per kg last week providing a respite to consumers, the rates have skyrocketed yet again, selling at Rs 100 per kg. Tomato prices first touched the century mark last week only to come down by Rs 30 a couple of days ago. Vendors said the price rise is due to a shortage from the suppliers’ end.
