Patiala clash: 5-member SIT set up to probe all 6 FIRs
The police on Wednesday formed a five-member SIT to probe into last week’s clash between two groups near Kali Devi temple in Patiala. So far, six FIRs have been registered and around 25 accused nominated. Led by SP (detective) Mehtab Singh, the SIT would have DSP Ajay Pal Singh, SP K K Panthe, CIA incharge Shaminder Singh and SHO Kotwali Patiala police station Rahul Kaushal as members.
