Patna HC tough on Nidhi companies in Bihar
Taking judicial notice of a news report published in TOI-Kolkata, which posed a caveat against Nidhi companies operating in West Bengal but registered in Bihar and Jharkhand and mopping up public money by calling themselves bank, a single bench of Patna high court on Thursday referred the matter to chief justice of the court for suo motu institution of a public interest litigation (PIL).
