Pay supplier dues: Arbitrator to Army
The Army's Northern Command based at Udhampur has been ordered to pay a compensatory amount of around Rs 17.63 crore to Gee Kay Industries, a supplier of Boot Anti Mine Infantry (known as BAMI), for breach of the payment terms and conditions of the contract leading to financial loss to the supplier by withholding of the due payment.
