Pb governor : PAU VC appointment illegal; asks CM to remove him
In yet another point of confrontation between Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit and the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government, the former, on Tuesday, asked Mann to remove Satbir Singh Gosal as vice-chancellor (VC) of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, terming the appointment "illegal." Hitting back, Punjab agriculture minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal urged Purohit to apologise and withdraw his objection.
