Days after the prehistoric petroglyphs at Pansaimol at Rivona, South Goa, made it to the tentative Unesco world heritage sites list, heritage lovers feel that the development has brought to the fore the need for the state government to shed its apathy towards preservation, conservation and promotion of the pre-historic sites.
