Punjab and Haryana high court suspends sentence, Jaswanti Devito walk out of jail
Rohtak's Apna Ghar former in-charge Jaswanti Devi, who was convicted in the 2012 case of sexual exploitation of the shelter inmates, will soon walk out of prison after spending around 10 years behind bars. The Punjab and Haryana high court has suspended her sentence till the pendency of her appeal against the life sentence awarded to her by a special CBI court in 2018.
