Punjab begins moong procurement at Rs 7,275/Q
The Punjab government has started procurement of summer moong (green gram) crop for the first time at a minimum support price (MSP) of Rs 7,275 per quintal from farmers. The move is aimed at encouraging crop diversification and supplementing farmers’ income.
