Punjab: Ex-minister Dharamsot, 2 aides arrested
In yet another setback to the Punjab Congress, the vigilance bureau early on Tuesday morning arrested former forests minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot and his two aides for their alleged involvement in 'organised corruption' regarding issuance of permits for cutting of Khair trees, transfer of government officials, purchases, and issuance of no-objection certificates.
