Punjab: FIR against nephew of ex-CM Channi for illegal mining
The FIR has been registered on Monday under sections 21(1) and 4(1) of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act, sections 379(theft), 406(criminal breach of trust), 420(cheating), 465(forgery), 471(using as genuine a forged document) and 120B(criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 15 of the Environment Protection Act at police station Rahon.
