Punjab governor turns down BFUHS vice-chancellor's appointmentIn another episode symptomatic of the uneasy relationship between AAP's Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government and governor Banwarilal Purohit, the latter has declined to clear the' appointment of cardiologist Dr Gurpreet Wander as the vice-chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot. Mann, however, sought to play down the issue saying, "We respect him."
