Punjab: 'Panel seeks new scanner to check smuggling'
The committee constituted for the installation of Full Body Truck Scanner (FBTS) at Integrated Check Post (ICP), Attari, has approached the Land Port Authority of India (LPAI) to replace the 'scrapped' FBTS with a superior quality one to rule out any attempts of smuggling of arms, ammunition and narcotics through the ICP even as the trade between India and Afghanistan has started gradually picking up .
