Punjab police ex-chief Dinkar Gupta appointed DG NIAThe appointment committee of the cabinet has cleared the appointment of former DGP of Punjab and 1987-batch IPS officer Dinkar Gupta as the director general of the National Investigation Agency(NIA) upto the date of his superannuation date March 31, 2024 or till further orders whichever takes place earlier.
