Rakhigarhi dig gives proof of planned Harappan-era city
Wide roads, a drainage network, multi-tier houses and possibly a jewellery-making unit - the latest excavation by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at Rakhigarhi village in Haryana's Hisar has found enough evidence to suggest that a meticulously planned Harappan city thrived there.
