Ranchi: After petrol, veg prices hit the roof
The hike in the price of petrol along with the Sarhul festival has resulted in the rate of vegetables going north. Tomatoes and carrots, which were available at Rs 20/kg around two weeks ago, are now priced at Rs 30/kg.
