Sarpanch, panch polls: 1st phase voting today in Haryana
All the preparations have been made for the first phase of panch and sarpanch elections in Haryana. Polling will be held on Tuesday for 2,607 posts of sarpanch and 25,968 posts of panch in Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Panchkula, Panipat and Yamunanagar districts. An official said 49.7 lakh people will exercise their franchise during the day.
